Jacob Cushing diary, 1787.

Diary of Rev. Jacob Cushing, kept in an interleaved almanac for 1787. Cushing was minister of the First Congregational Church in Waltham, Mass., and entries note his ministerial duties, including weddings and funerals performed, and the ordination of local clergy. Additional entries note farm chores, weather, and local news. The diary also includes some accounts for 1787-88, as well as a chart of the miles he traveled over the course of the year.
